Don’t dull

If you’re sitting in a corner, don’t dull!

If you have money, don’t dull!

If you’re making money, don’t dull!

If doors are being shut in your face, don’t dull!

If everyone is saying ‘NO’, don’t dull!

Accept yourself

Gone are the days when I used to sit in the corner and feel sorry for myself. I remember growing up and always yearning for attention, love and affection but never getting it but rather the opposite. This was due to a lot of factors which I will leave for another post.

Anyway, I always looked at my friends on their birthdays and at Christmas and just wish that I would get half of what they had next year…I was always silently bitter but never jealous or envious, just more determined to get what I wanted for myself.

You know sometimes we become comfortable with just sitting in a corner and getting attention for our self pity well all I can say is, if you’re that type of person, don’t dull, get up and get yours because no one will get it for you! All people will do is feel sorry for and hand you their left overs…you deserve the best and none will give you that but yourself…!!!

A lot of the time, people that have ‘made’ it become content and begin to relax and settle…mate, don’t dull because the time you take to chill, someone is coming up with a thousand ways to succeed you. Remember the saying that ‘you can rest when you’re dead’? Live by that and you will be fine. Work hard and play harder…!

Don’t get me wrong I’m not talking about greed here but rather determination. The same drive that drove you to succeed should not diminish but propel you further to greater achievements.
